Forward Scotland believes in the principle of working in partnership and in the power of organisations working together towards common goals. The partnership approach enables us to achieve significant and lasting change, and also encourages the partners themselves to put sustainable development at the heart of their operations.

Viridor Credits Scotland is a partnership between Forward Scotland and Viridor Waste Management, through which Landfill Tax Credits are available to support a range of community improvements. Previously distributing grants principally in the East Lothian area, the scheme has been extended to include South Lanarkshire and North Lanarkshire.

 Forward Scotland and Patersons Quarries Ltd have supported project activity to benefit local communities through the Landfill Tax Credit grant scheme. Projects have been supported in South Lanarkshire, Inverclyde and Stirling and the scheme is now closed.
