Forward Scotland's response to the consultation by the HM Treasury and Cabinet Officer of the Third Sector on a proposed distribution mechanism for unclaimed assets. We support the proposals overall, but underline the importance of ensuring the mechanism fits with both the UK and Scottish Sustainable Development strategies, and stress that the Scottish Executive should determine the priorities and infrastructure for distributing the funds in Scotland.
