Forward Scotland's response to the Scottish Government second consultation on the Disposal of Land by Local Authorities (Scotland) Regulations 200[7]. We would urge that the revised Regulations include a requirement for local authorities to publicise proposals to dispose of land at less than the best consideration that could reasonably be obtained to ensure communities’ ability to acquire assets is not reduced.
