Sustainable Communities Champion in Slovenia |

 2008 Forward Scotland Sustainable Communities Champion (International) Ian Mitchell continues to support the natural heritage of Bohinji in Slovenia. He presented his award to the people of the region of Bohinji during May.
The Mayor of Bohinji accepted the award on behalf of the people. Ian continues to promote the Wildflower festival in Slovenia which has now attracted the support of the President as its honorary patron. We at Forward Scotland wish Ian well and hope that his energy can help realise a sister event in Sutherland in 2010.
