New Funding in Lanarkshire

Forward Scotland is delighted to announce that Viridor Credits Scotland now welcomes grant applications from both North and South Lanarkshire.

Forward Scotland administers the application, assessment and distribution of grants through the Landfill Communities Fund, on behalf of landfill operator Viridor Waste Management. This scheme offers grants from the Landfill Communities Fund for community projects in the vicinity of its landfill sites.

Applicants can apply for grants up to 75% of a projects cost to a maximum value of £30,000. The types of projects that could be funded include: the development or refurbishment of play areas, the refurbishment of village halls and day centres and the development of an environmental garden.
